The Auxiliary Operator-Power Block, will perform basic job functions on power plant equipment such as:

• Preventative maintenance that includes greasing and cleaning equipment.

• Minor plant improvement projects.

• Support and participation in general housekeeping of the department.

• Other assignments, as directed.

The Auxiliary Operator-Power Block, will be assigned to an entry-level crew to train for and perform job functions as his/her skill level increases.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Resource recovery facility experience is desired. Must have interest, desire, and ability to learn plant operations for future advancement. Willing to work overtime, both scheduled and in response to unscheduled demand.
