Covanta is currently in need of a Document Control Specialist. This position will support the Project Services/Construction division. In addition to supporting the Project Services/Construction division, this role will also be an interface with the IT department. Other responsibilities include but not limited to are:-Compiles and maintains control of records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to Construction Department colleagues, outside engineering firms and vendors.
-Manages Document Control SystemManages, stores, transmits and monitors flow of documents involving vendors, Architect Engineers and Covanta project teams.
-Posts, scans, copies and files transmittals, drawings and specifications.
-Maintains and manages document management systems (DvTDM), including troubleshooting, upgrades, testing, training team members, and coordination with IT.
-Expedites turnaround time of drawing and specification reviews. Runs reports showing status of documents by project.
