Reporting to the Auxiliaries Supervisor, the Lead Plant Service Worker (PSW) is an Hourly Employee responsible for directing resources to complete assignments given by the Auxiliaries Supervisor.  This position will generally work a day shift schedule Monday through Friday at 8 hours a day, but can be required to work other hours depending on the needs of the facility  The duties and responsibilities of the Lead Plant Service Worker include, but are not limited to:

  • Identify and direct resources to keep up with the facility housekeeping needs.
    • Spear head the housekeeping group through the lead housekeeper.

      • Safety

      • Directing plant needs

      • Time tracking for Contractors

      • Attendance

      • Performance

      • Equipment and needs

  • Mobile equipment qualification for all Facility Rolling Stock.

  • Coordinate outage clean up efforts

  • Assist in major clean up evolutions.

  • Training support of the PSW group.

  • Limited vacation or watch station coverage on an as needed basis.

  • Support Ash Load out building as needed.

  • Any and all other tasks or jobs asked by Auxiliaries Supervisor, Chief Engineer or Shift Supervisor.


To be considered for this position, you must have a HS diploma or equivalent coupled with knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment. Related industrial plant experience is a plus.
