Based at our Chester, PA facility, we seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for maintaining all phases of electrical and control equipment throughout the plant. This includes preventative, corrective, emergency, warranty service, etc. Identify repairs and document electrical equipment malfunctions. Calibrate mechanical and electrical instrumentation, install and test new equipment in accordance with safety standards, conduct predictive analysis of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment and update Preventative Maintenance Systems and work orders. Be willing to perform other duties as assigned to assist the maintenance department. Must be willing to be on call and work a variety of shifts to meet plant needs.
HS Diploma/GED is required. To qualify you must have fundamental computer skills, have knowledge of electrical and instrumentation theory/technology and standard operating and safety procedures. Candidate must have excellent manual dexterity allowing for repair of precision equipment safely and effectively while working in awkward locations/positions. Oral and written communication skills, problem solving and decision making ability and customer service skills are needed. You must be able to work in varying conditions of heat, cold, dust, noise, smoke, vibrations, odors, various elevations, etc. A minimum of 3-5 years background in electrical/electronics; with experience in analytical or process instrumentation and equipment /CEMS is a plus.
