DNV offers a wide range of services related to oil & gas / energy market. The services are aimed for all phases from concept studies through production working with product development, design, technology qualification, manufacturing/installation, project execution and asset operation. The Department for Deepwater Technology is working with multi-disciplinary projects related to underwater systems.
Our Department is responsible for DNV’s activity related to Deepwater Technology in North America/West Africa. The Department has all oil majors and manufactures as key clients and performs a multitude of services related to subsea facilities and offshore pipelines. Our services include Verification, Technology Qualification, Technical/Consulting services and Integrity Management related to Mooring, Riser, Umbilicals, Subsea Pipelines, and Subsea facilities. We have a strong technical environment with the capability to undertake very advanced technical analysis related to offshore projects.
We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer with strong Subsea Umbilical experience.

You will be leading the expansion of our umbilical related business and be selling and delivering challenging technical projects related to subsea umbilicals. DNV has developed a very competitive solutions consisting of in-house multidiscipline subject matter expertise and a state of the art suite of software. DNV provides total solutions by combining a multi-disciplinary team of experts along with state of the art suite of computer software.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be expected to develop a strong client network. You will also be expected to promote DNV services through active participation in industry conferences.
In addition to your business development role, you will also be involved in managing / participating in multi-disciplinary projects. The position will include a large variety of projects and offers great opportunities for personal and professional development.
