Duties:             Demonstrates knowledge of existing and emerging technology and product areas. Understands, can articulate and apply mainstay process for assignment delivery. Designs and architects hardware infrastructure solution for clients across multiple domains to run Data Management, Geoscience, Drilling, Production and Reservoir Engineering applications in a stand-alone, client server and cloud environment. Serves as subject matter expert for small teams of engineers and coordinates across multiple domains. Responsible for multiple infrastructure programs and projects. Works closely with pre-sales and sales team conducting presentations, product demonstrations, and proactively scopes the technical solution required to address client’s requirements into project proposal. Assesses and documents client’s business and technology processes as it relates to Landmark’s data management and IT solutions, and translates findings into executable implementation plans. Works with clients to identify areas to streamline and create efficiencies, while utilizing industry best practices and promoting Landmark solutions. Provides end-to-end project implementations, monitors all aspects of client’s infrastructure implementation utilizing critical path networks, client specific task check lists and tracking reference documents to ensure the successful implementation; creates custom data connections from Landmark’s common data access platform within DecisionSpace Integration Server (DSIS) solution to multiple data sources (Landmark and non-Landmark data sources). Will travel up to 75% of the time within Houston and outside of Texas to deliver services at client sites.



Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate Exploration and Production (E & P) industry experience in the job offered or a related position. 


Must have experience with the following:


  1. 6 years of experience with a large size Oil & Gas corporation system integration;

  2. 6 years of experience with level 3 systems administration support in Linux, Windows, Oracle, networking, hardware virtualization, storage, Citrix, Active Directory and middleware platforms;

  3. 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Exploration and Production (E&P) cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS and Saas) space;

  4. 2 years of experience with Teiid data virtualization and federation, virtual database (VDB), data connectors, data mapping and data services;

  5. 2 years of experience loading and managing oil and gas seismic and well data types; and

  6. 2 years of experience delivering internal/external training and preparing training collateral.
