Duties:                   Responsibilities include: Analyzing and interpreting geological, geochemical, or geophysical information acquired from company tools; analyzing and interpreting geological data and using computer software applying an understanding of the applicable science, technology and client business requirements; utilizing an understanding of how domain data has been acquired and how cross-discipline workflows are used to implement best-practice approaches; actively working within a team with members who have various levels of competence in the relevant technical domains; supporting the use of best practice work processes, project, quality and commercial management; applying company mainstay process for assignment delivery; contributing ideas to the team on ways to improve mainstay processes; effectively managing personal workload to meet desired project/service level targets; and demonstrating a basic understanding of consulting practice development, project delivery and business development.

 

Requirements:      Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering or Geology or related field, and 1 year of experience in job offered or 1 year related experience. Must have 1 year experience in formation evaluation techniques using wireline and Logging while drilling data; petrophysical interpretation, pressure interpretation, geological interpretation, static reservoir modeling, and/or well testing and reservoir engineering applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office; preparing and presenting of technical and non-technical information; designing well logging programs (both LWD and Wireline); and Gulf of Mexico applications.

 

In lieu of above, will accept Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering or Geology or related field, and 5 years of experience in job offered or 5 years related experience. Must have 5 years' experience in formation evaluation techniques using wireline and Logging while drilling data; petrophysical interpretation, pressure interpretation, geological interpretation, static reservoir modeling, and/or well testing and reservoir engineering applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office; preparing and presenting of technical and non-technical information; designing well logging programs (both LWD and Wireline); and Gulf of Mexico applications.
