Role: Production Technical Sales Leader, Iraq

 

Responsibilities

 

·       Develop sales opportunities for Halliburton/Landmark Production portfolio through proactive demand generation activities including but not limited to client engagement, thought leadership and conferences   

·       Work closely with account teams in developing account plans, stakeholder maps and marketing strategies and execute them

·       Build and maintain relationships with the key client stakeholders and advise them on their technical issues

·       Conduct software demonstration to the customers and own the pre-sales activities  

·       Help accounts and services team with developing quality response to RFIs/RFQs/RFPs and provide technical assurance throughout the bidding process

·       Build personal eminence through thought leadership activities including but not limited to publications in industry forums and speaking engagements in conferences

·       Develop proactive proposals and point of views, conduct workshops with the customer and lead the development of early prototypes and proofs of concept

·       Work closely with Landmark Software Product Managers to provide them competitive intelligence and functional inputs for software product enhancement

·       Share knowledge with wider Halliburton/Landmark community

·       Develop alliance with product vendors

 

Skills:

 

Technical

 

·       Minimum 12 years of experience in the E&P Product/Services  Business Development, Pre-sales or Client-facing consulting role with responsibilities for business development- Preferable to have experience in the Middle East E&P market in general and Iraq in particular  

·       Good knowledge of E&P product market and competitive landscape along with industry trends and new technology developments

·       Familiarity with various popular commercial E&P Production applications such as Petex, Tieto, OFM, OSI-PI etc

·       Should demonstrate proficiency on common Production workflows such as Production Surveillance, Forecasting, Optimization and Planning, data flows and KPIs

·       Deep understanding of bidding process, various commercial models and ability to lead the pre-sales process (e.g. demo, proposal writing, presentation etc)

·       Ability to leverage wider organization and Market capabilities in order to develop the best propositions for the client

·       Ability to create high quality client-facing and internal presentations

·       Good communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to hit the ground running in a short time

·       Should be self-starter and able to work with minimum supervision

·       Should be well organized and structured

·       Should demonstrate attitude for continuous self-learning
