LCRA is seeking an experienced and passionate leader to direct, guide, and support Transmission’s resilience, business continuity, and emergency management strategy. In this role, you will be serving in a mission critical role integral to LCRA enhancing the lives of Texans. You will work in close partnership with both the Transmission organization, as well as, across the LCRA enterprise and will involve collaborating and engaging all levels of LCRA including individual team members and senior and executive leadership. This position will leverage your specialized expertise in maturing resilience, business continuity, and emergency management programs and strategies.

You will be trusted to:

* Serves as a liaison with the corporate resiliency team. Coordinates, aligns, and works closely with LCRA Resiliency, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management organization.
* Responsible for designing, updating, and driving policies, programs, processes, and procedures
* Manages After Action Review (AAR) plans to drive improvements through implementation.
* Represents LCRA in mutual aid efforts and industry and peer groups and committees.
* Coordinates with cities, counties, industries and other agencies
* Coordinates and/or develops emergency preparedness including disaster and response exercises
* Serves on the Incident Management Team (IMT) as the Transmission Emergency Management Coordinator reporting to the Incident Commander and/or Manager

Requirements

Twelve or more years of experience in emergency management, operations, business continuity or other relevant experience. A degree in business, finance, accounting, engineering, emergency management or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

 

Preferred:

Knowledge and certification in the National Incident Management System Training Program
Significant experience in coordinating Transmission & Distribution utility emergency response events
